My yearly drawing prompt series has arrived! This year, I used a list from @assorteda on Instagram! I had so much fun with these prompts!

This October posed a few unique challenges. My usual schedule has me going from non-stop painting for the square show directly into my October prompts. This year, I wanted to work ahead a bit so I could have a break during the last part of the month. By the 20th, I had all but the final two prompts complete!

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t have a chance to do the last two until much later because I was in the hospital for several days. Gallbladders have truly inconvenient timing. I’m still recovering from surgery (I’m typing this up on Nov. 12) but I’m feeling much better.

I was able to squeeze out the last two sketches eventually but they’re obviously of a much lower quality. Maybe I’ll come back to them at a later date. Maybe not. Only time will tell.
